Danielle and Andrew at Peppers on the Point Rotorua

Check out more of our wedding photos on our website: www.bayofplentyweddings.co.nz

Danielle and Andrew met when they were working on the same super yacht, Danielle a beautiful Brazillian fell in love with our very handsome Kiwi groom and have a beautiful child together.....

Danielle went for the  classical-vintage wedding...and she looked like she had walked out of a Audrey Hepburn movie!

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous - Coco Chanel

Peppers on the Point served as a magical location for this magical wedding....

Danielle's beautiful sister and niece added to the international splendour of the day!

Once in awhile,
Right in the middle of an ordinary life,
Love gives us a fairy tale.

The groom and his team were dressed like real gentlemen...... classical and very dashing

Sitting beside Lake Rotorua, Peppers on the Point was the perfect location for the classical group shot

Soulmates...
two halves of the
same soul
joining together in lifes journey

Danielle wore a stunning wedding dress, but just as stunning was this 2nd dress which  was worn in a French movie.....she looked every bit the film star!

talking of movies........
The fun fair was in town, so Steve took the wedding party to pose with "Jack "hi honey I'm home" Nicholson

Andy's father Ron (of Finns Fashions) was very proud of his new daughter in law
"She will fill our lives with sunshine.... And our hearts with love."

"Saude!" (cheers)

"Parabéns"(congratulations)

It is always so nice to be part of a wedding that reflects the couple's cultural background. Jon and Fiona sailed over in their yatcht from the wild coast of bonnie Scotland to the balmy breezes of the Pacific, settling in the paradise of  Aotearoa.

the boys looked magnificent as they honoured Scotland in their tartan regalia.

Needless to say, Fiona resisted wearing the tartan on her wedding day going for the traditional white.
Having a piper at the wedding was magical, how can one not be moved by the sight of bagpipes and kilts at a wedding? (ignore the sassenach celebrant on the right-I can say that because it's me!)
Our "Flower of Scotland" looked stunning as she lept for joy !

Family and friends came from all over the world to watch this lovely couple bathe in the sunshine
as Jon and Fiona declared their love and commitment to each other.

“I am you; you are ME. You are the waves; I am the ocean. Know this and be free, be divine.”
--Sri Sathya Sai Baba

“Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone.”

“I dropped a tear in the ocean, and whenever they find it I'll stop loving you, only then.”

Relationships are all about looking ahead in the same direction, Jon and Fiona share a synergy that will keep them moving along the same pathway

.....and always have friends that will take that leap of faith with them on their journey

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm. Which is why Steve and I  love doing beach weddings.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
The sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields.

We get to meet some amazing people in this wonderful type of work. Steve and Michelle are soul mates who follow our motto of "live...Love....laugh"
the day was wet (surprise surprise) but that didn't dampen the spirit of the day, whcih just shows that it's natures way of cleansing the past!

Michelle's father has the most beautiful garden, complete with lake and this was where Michelle and Steve held their special ceremony.

Proud father Leon, watched on as his beautiful daughter and son in law did him proud
And the boys....were just boys!!!!!

                                                               and the girls were restrained!!!!!

Takefumi and Asako 7th January

To view more of our work check out www.bayofplentyweddings.co.nz

Some people forget what a glorious country we live in, and sometimes it takes the eyes of an outsider to remind us that we live in Gods own!

Takefumi and Asako flew over from Japan just to celebrate their wedding at Charlemagne lodge. However the day prior, Steve took them around the area to get some good old "kiwi shots"

The break in the weather allowed for some nice intimate shots

The next day, once again the rain kept away long enough to have an outdoor ceremony at Charlemagne Logde, the only guest were both sets of parents from Japan, and Charlemagne's wonderful hostess and wedding organiser Bev.......plus of course Steve and I

Both bride and groom looked classical

The vows were exchanged in both English and Japanese

A beautiful wedding and a lovely couple

The families had a wonderful "kiwi" wedding

Their memories of New Zealand will always be with them

Life is to short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly

It was the week prior to Christmas, the scene was set on a beautiful sunny day (yes we did have one day without rain!) on the dunes at Papamoa beach. Shannon looked stunning, as did the groom!

It is so nice to work with couples who are so obviously so in love, it is an honour to be part of such a special day.

There were tears....from the groom, but that adds to the emotion (and saves poking him in the eye to get such a reaction!)

However I was just about to do the vows, when we realised we had an extra guest who had decided to join in on the celebration!

a huge shark just metres away right in the shallows, one of the guests had to run down the beach at this point to warn some children swimming just a little further down the beach..... the reaction of the boys team............

it was a spectacular day, with many guests from the Netherlands, so it was an awesome experience for them!

Beach weddings are really only as good as the weather, today was hot and sun screen was definately the order of the day.

Love is looking at the futre together!

May the memories of that day last longer than the footprints in the sand!
